Manchester United supervisor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that striker Edinson Cavani has had an enormous affect on Mason Greenwood.
34-year-old Cavani was roped by United in the summertime on a one-year deal and together with his future nonetheless unsure, there’s a perception that United desires to maintain him for an extended interval as they see him as somebody who may assist the event of their younger strikers.
Talking forward of their conflict with Burnley, Solskjaer mentioned: “Being a center-forward within the Premier League might be the toughest place to play.
“For the time being, I believe Mason is extra suited to enjoying that vast function, dropping into pockets, discovering area, and working in behind. I do not need him together with his again to objective and having two center-backs up his bottom.
“Enjoying with Edinson Cavani has been a prime instance. Edi leads by instance despite the fact that the language barrier has made it a bit tough. However Mason and Edi have struck an excellent relationship. I can see that Edi actually appreciates Mason’s expertise, his starvation, and his willingness to study.
“And in Edinson Cavani, he’s studying from one of many best possible. It is like after I discuss having Sir Alex Ferguson as a supervisor. If I could not study from him then there was no level in going into administration. If Mason, Marcus (Rashford), and Anthony (Martial) cannot study off Edinson then they cannot study from anybody.”
